Privacy Policy — Wagenda Desktop (Windows)
Effective date: 10 October 2026
The short version: your calendar data stays on your PC. The app has no
accounts, no analytics and no ads, and sends nothing to us.
Wagenda Desktop ("the app") is a Windows desktop widget that shows your calendar
agenda, developed by SyncMind (published on the Microsoft Store as vedacool). This policy explains
what information the app handles, how it is used and stored, and the choices you have.
Information the app handles
- Calendar addresses you enter. To show your agenda, you paste one or more
private ("secret") iCal addresses, for example from Google Calendar. These addresses give
read access to your calendar.
- Calendar events. The app downloads events from those addresses: titles,
dates and times, locations and whether an event repeats.
- App settings. Your preferences, such as widget position, size, clock
format and whether the app starts with Windows.
The app does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, device identifiers
or usage statistics.
How it is used
Calendar events are used only to display your agenda in the widget. They are kept in
memory while the app runs and are not saved to disk by the app.
How it is stored and secured
- Calendar addresses and settings are stored only on your PC, in the app's local data folder.
- Calendar addresses are encrypted with Windows Data Protection (DPAPI), so only your Windows
user account on that PC can read them.
- Calendars are downloaded over encrypted HTTPS connections.
Who information is shared with
- Your calendar provider (for example Google). The app connects directly
to the calendar addresses you entered in order to download your events. That provider's own
privacy policy applies to your calendar.
- Microsoft. The Microsoft Store handles app installation, licensing and
the optional Wagenda Pro purchase. Payment details are entered with Microsoft and are never
seen by the app or by us. See the
Microsoft Privacy Statement.
We (SyncMind) do not receive any of your calendar addresses, events or settings, and we
do not sell or share personal information.
Your choices and control
- Remove a calendar at any time in the app's Settings.
- If you think a calendar address has been exposed, reset it in your calendar provider
(in Google Calendar: Settings → your calendar → Integrate calendar → Reset), which makes
the old address stop working.
- Uninstalling the app from Windows removes the app and its locally stored data.
- Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, export or delete
on your behalf. Everything is on your own PC.
Children
The app is a general productivity tool and is not directed at children. It does not
knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change, this page will be updated and the effective date above
will change.
